Saturday, May 18 – Go Dance Professional Dancers and Celebrity Partners Performing at Dancing for the Horses:  6 – 11 p.m., Bridgewater Place, Knoxville.  Go Dance, Knoxville’s longest running ballroom dance studio will provide dance lessons and choreography for local celebrities participating in the event.  Go Dance will also design and produce a themed dance show, in which its Pros will dance with their celebrity dance partners to raise funds for Horse Haven of Tennessee.  Tickets are $100 per person or $800 per table and can be purchased at www.dancingforthehorses.com

Saturday, May 18 – LCHS Project Graduation is an exciting all-night chaperoned celebration at Cool Sports Icearium.  This event enables our graduates to have a fun and most importantly safe graduation night.  We are able, with community support, to provide approximately $4,000 in cash prizes and gifts.  Please consider supporting this event.  If you would like to introduce your business to our graduating seniors with a gift card or goody bag item, please contact Jinni Redmond at jredmond1967@gmail.com

Saturday, June 1 – United Way 5th Annual Golf Tournament:  The United Way of Loudon County and United Way of Monroe County have again partnered for their 5th Annual Golf Tournament to benefit both United Ways at Rarity Bay Golf Course.  Do not miss out on a chance to bid for NASCAR tickets!  The tournament helps fund 47 nonprofits in both counties.  For team registration and sponsorship opportunities, call Judy Fenton at 865-582-4082 or email fentonj@unitedwayknox.org

Saturday, June 1 – Sunday, June 2 - 57th Annual Lenoir City Arts & Crafts Fair:  9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday, June 1st; 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Sunday, June 2nd, Lenoir City Park presented by the GFWC Suburbia Woman’s Club.  This year the event was chosen by the Southeast Tourism Society as a top 20 event to visit in June in the Southeast.  The festival features crafters and artisans from throughout the Southeast, with over 200 participants including food vendors participating this year.  Parking will be provided off site with bus transportation to the park.  A $3 donation is requested at the gate.  

Tuesday, June 11 – 1 Year Customer Appreciation Day at First Tennessee Bank:  Noon – 3 p.m., 510 U.S. Hwy. 321 N, Lenoir City.  We want to recognize the loyalty and cooperation of our clients during this transition year with refreshments under the tent!  Come out and celebrate with us!

The Pregnancy Resource Center’s Mobile Medical Unit is in Lenoir City every Thursday!  The Mobile Medical Unit is located in the Walmart parking lot from noon – 4 p.m. every Thursday, and there is no appointment required to be seen on the Mobile Medical Unit.  The Unit is able to provide pregnancy testing and ultrasounds, as well as counseling.  If you know someone who needs the Pregnancy Resource Center’s resources, please refer them to the Mobile Medical Unit, or call 865-977-8378.
