Friday, April 21 – Loudon County Chamber Open Golf Tournament: 11 a.m. Registration & Lunch; 1 p.m. Shotgun Start, Avalon Golf & Country Club, 1299 Oak Chase Blvd., Lenoir City. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 12th Place. Team of 4 Players - $440 – includes lunch and snacks and beverages on the course. Special Shots Packages – 4 x $25 = $100, includes 1 mulligan, 1 throw, 1 red tee drive, 1 putting contest entry. Saturday, April 22 – Spring Fling in Downtown Lenoir City: 12 Noon – 4:00 p.m. Come listen to music including the band, Bo Ashby. Food, crafts and more! Booth space still available for $35. Sell your boats, jet skis, fishing equipment and tackle. Call 865-317-3652 to reserve a space to set up a table or tent to sell your items. You must provide your own table and tent. Live bands, food vendors, and demonstrations for youth on casting and which bait and lures to use.

Join us for a special wine and cheese tasting and entertainment by J. Luke with proceeds benefitting the Boys & Girls Club of Loudon County. Price is $25 per person. Friday, April 28 – Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church Presents The Jim Brady Trio in Concert: 7 p.m., Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, 260 Wade Road West, Loudon. Jim Brady and his wife Melissa together with Layke Jones are the newly formed Southern Gospel trio “The Jim Brady Trio”. It’s been quite some time since the Gospel Music world has seen the merger of such a talented musical force. Come and experience them for yourself! Shred Pro will be on site – you can watch them shred your documents while you enjoy free coffee and doughnuts and pick up some great give-a-ways!
Saturday, April 29 – Watercolor Painting Class at The Depot Ceramic Shop: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., The Depot Ceramic Shop, 820 Dixie Lee Circle, Lenoir City. Watercolor painting is popular for depicting everyday scenes and objects. One of the most popular renderings is flowers. In this class, you will learn drawing, blending, shading, and highlighting techniques to easily create a beautiful flower design. Silent and Live Auction, Dinner, and featured speaker, Detective Kevin McNeil, with all proceeds benefitting Kids First TN Child Advocacy Center of the Ninth Judicial District.
