Friday, September 15 - Movies in the Park:  The Lego Batman Movie, rated PG, begins at dusk at Lenoir City Park.  Free, outdoor movie night for the entire family. Pack some snacks, grab a blanket or chair, and come watch a movie with us!

Thursday, September 14 – Good Sam’s Picnic Lunch Box Sale:  11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.; Good Samaritan Center of Loudon County is now taking orders for their picnic box lunch sale – your choice of turkey or ham sandwich, chips, pickle, beverage and a signature dessert – all for only $10!  Pickup sites will be at the all-access playground in Lenoir City and the First Baptist Church of Tellico Village. Delivery is available for businesses in Lenoir City with a five box minimum.  Order deadline is Friday, September 8th.   Pre-orders are recommended. Saturday, September 16 – Tellico Village Community Church Crafters and Loudon County Habitat for Humanity Garage Sale & Boutique:  8 a.m. – Noon, Community Church at Tellico Village Christian Life Center, 130 Chota Center, Loudon.  Donations can be dropped off at the church on Friday, September 15th, 8 a.m. – Noon. 

Saturday, September 16 – Lenoir City Downtown Street Festival and Civitan Car Show:  8 a.m. – Noon, downtown Lenoir City on Broadway.  More than 100 vehicles are expected to be on display.  There will also be food, live music, vendors, children’s activities, and SEC football on a big screen.  Proceeds will benefit Lenoir City Civitan charitable projects.  More info at www.civitancarshow.com or https://www.facebook.com/lenoircitydowntownstreetfestival.

Saturday, September 16 – Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church Presents Mark Bishop in Concert:  6 p.m., Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, 260 Wade Rd. Loudon County Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit Christian housing ministry and is seeking a full time staff accountant to be responsible for bookkeeping, payroll related activities, and assisting with procurement, budgets, grants and construction bids.  Degree in accounting, business, or similar field and 3 years’ experience as a comptroller, office manager, or accounting manager or combination of experience/education.  Salary in mid/upper 40k.  Construction and non-profit experience a plus.  Interested applicants can send resume and cover letter to jobs@loudoncountyhabitat.org
