Tuesday, October 10 – Chamber Business after Hours and Annual Membership Meeting

Tuesday, October 10 – Greenback Farmer’s & Craft Market:  10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Greenback Depot.

Wednesday, October 11 – Farmer’s Market at the Tellico Village Yacht Club:  9 a.m. – Noon, 100 Sequoyah Drive, Loudon. 

 

Saturday, October 14 - Free Spay/Neuter Vouchers:  10 a.m., Loudon City Hall/Loudon Utilities Building, 201 Alma Place, Loudon.  Vouchers are limited to pet owners earning less than $20,000/yr. individual or $30,000/yr. household.  Loudon County residents only – picture ID required.  Pet will be required to have proof of current rabies vaccination; this can be administered on day of surgery.  Pets must be (4) months or older.  Please do not bring your pet to the Voucher Session.  Call 865-988-7387 or 865-671-8654 for more information.

Thursday, October 26 – Park after Dark:  5 – 7 p.m., Wampler-Keith Park, Lenoir City.  This is a fun event for the whole family!  Event will include costume contest, games, hayrides, face painting, fall pictures, and light refreshments.  Call Lenoir City Parks & Recreation at 865-986-1223 for more information.

Monday, October 16 – Pat Summitt Invitational Golf Tournament at WindRiver:  1o a.m. shotgun start.  Calling all Golfers!  WindRiver is proudly hosting the Pat Summitt Invitational to benefit The Pat Summitt Foundation and its fight against Alzheimer’s disease.  The tournament includes breakfast, lunch, and player awards.  Call 865-988-0370 to register.

Friday, October 20 – Nights on Broadway:  5 – 8 p.m., downtown Lenoir City.  Historic Downtown Lenoir City Merchants Association will have our last Nights on Broadway for the season.  Vendors with crafts, food trucks, and entertainment.  Fun for the entire family!

Tuesday, October 24 – Loudon County Habitat for Humanity Fourth Annual Houses & Hope Breakfast:  8:30 – 10:00 a.m., Central United Methodist Church, 301 Hickory Creek Rd/, Lenoir City.  There is no cost to attend.  Please RSVP by calling 865-458-0704, Sandi Byrd, Opt. 2, Ext. 4; or Martha Marquez, Opt. 2, Ext. 3. 

Friday, October 27 – Oktoberfest at WindRiver / Citico’s Restaurant & Club:  5 – 10 p.m., join us at Citico’s for Oktoberfest at WindRiver.  Enjoy the changing leaves and fun festivities while overlooking beautiful Tellico Lake at WindRiver’s fall festival!  The evening will include live music by Stephen Goff and The Royals, great food from Citico’s Restaurant & Club including Bratwurst & Pretzels with mustard and kraut and Weiner Schnitzel Sliders with beer cheese plus other festive selections, Oktoberfest draft beers and full-service bar.  Ticket price includes live music and food at the event.  Oktoberfest draft beers and full bar service purchased separately.  Purchase tickets in advance ($20) or at the event ($30).  Call 865-988-1864 to purchase tickets in advance. 

Friday, November 3 – Fort Loudoun Medical Center Hosts Career Fair & Community Meet & Greet:  Clinical and non-clinical healthcare workers seeing new career opportunities, as well as community members interested in learning more about the hospital and its services, are invited to attend!  The fair will take place on Friday, November 3rd with sessions at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.  Hospital leadership will kick each session off with a welcome message about Fort Loudoun’s commitment to excellence.  Afterwards, candidates and community members are invited to meet hospital staff and nursing leaders over refreshments.  Attendees will be able to meet and greet leaders from many hospital departments including:  Admitting & Registration, Cardiopulmonary Services, Comprehensive Therapy, Critical care, Emergency, Environmental services, general Laboratory, Med-Surg, Pharmacy, Radiology, Surgery and Volunteer Services.  Those wishing to attend may RSVP to Amy Lasater on our Covenant Careers page at www.covenantcareers.com/events no later than October 27th to receive event location and details.  RSVP’s by phone can be made by calling 865-316-2203.
