Tuesday, December 12 – Chamber Business after Hours5:00 – 6:30 p.m.; Downtown Lenoir City Merchants. We will begin at 5 p.m. at Sadie’s Boutique, Monogramming & Gifts (101 W Broadway), move to The Lacy, Sparkly Pig, and end at Dane Ogden State Farm.  Bring business cards for door prizes at each merchant.   Great food, great networking, door prizes and so much more!  For more info, call 865-458-2067.

Thursday, December 7 – Lenoir City Christmas Parade6:30 p.m., line-up at Yale Commercial Locks parking lot.  Kick off the holiday season with the Lenoir City Christmas Parade!  Get your float and parade entry ideas ready and help us bring the magic of Christmas to Broadway!  All parade participants MUST pre-register by calling 865-986-1223.

Friday, December 8 – Kindergarten Tree Decorating:  9 – 11 a.m., the kindergarten classes from Loudon Elementary, Philadelphia Elementary, and Steekee Elementary help Santa and Loudon Utilities decorate the City of Loudon Christmas Tree. 


Friday, December 8 – Downtown Tree Lighting Ceremony:  6 p.m., join us at the Christmas Tree in Historic Downtown Loudon to officially kick-off the Christmas Season.  The event will begin at 6 p.m. and feature performances by the Academy of Dance Arts Ensemble and Loudon Elementary School Chorus. 


Saturday, December 9 – Loudon Christmas Parade6 p.m. Parade; 5 p.m. line-up at Loudon High School in the lower parking lot off of Mulberry Street.  Our theme this year is “Celebrate Loudon Past, Present and Future”.  Register floats to win a prize by calling Loudon Parks & Recreation at 865-458-7525.

Lenoir City Civitan Club Is looking for new members!  Civitan members are dedicated to helping people in their own communities from collecting food for a homeless shelter, to volunteering at the local retirement home, to building a playground for children with disabilities.  The club meets each Tuesday for lunch at Calhoun’s at the Marina in Lenoir City.  There is a guest speaker each week.  For more information, contact Amanda DeBord at 865-986-0833.

Monday, December 11 – Annual Tree Lighting and Annual Teddy Bear Collection at Fort Loudoun Medical Center:  1 p.m., in the FLMC Main Lobby.  We would love for everyone to donate new teddy bears and bring them to the Annual Tree Lighting ceremony!  The bears will be given to our patients throughout the year to help easy anxieties during hospital visits.  Refreshments and entertainment will be provided.  Hope to see you there!

Tuesday, December 12 - First Annual Fireside Festival for the Children:  6:00 – 8:30 p.m., The Venue at Lenoir City, 7690 Creekwood Park Blvd., Lenoir City.   Businesses, schools, and other organizations will decorate trees in the size and themes of their choosing for auction on December 12th.  One hundred percent of this year’s proceeds will benefit the Child Advocacy Center of the Ninth Judicial District.  The trees will be placed and stay on display through the Fireside Festival on Tuesday, December 12th, 6:00-8:30 p.m., when they will be auctioned as a fundraiser for the Child Advocacy Center.  To become involved, please call The Venue at 865-986-8340 or email Madison@VenueLC.com

Friday, December 15 – Tennessee Valley Winery “Winner Series”:  7 p.m., Tennessee Valley Winery, 15606 Hotchkiss Valley Rd. E, Lenoir City.  We are starting our new “Winner Series” Wine plus Dinner equals Winner, which will debut with a Holiday themed dinner in our cellar featuring music from Tim Elliot and a catered meal and wine for all for only $35 per person.  Reservations are required by calling 865-986-5147.
