Friday, May 18 – Saturday, May 19 - Greenback Junkin’ Fair:  8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (vendor times may vary), downtown Greenback in the Home Décor Resale Store parking lot, 6710 Morganton Rd.  Community yard sale, farmer’s market, crafts, homemade goodies, anything goes!  Vendors, please call or text Janet at 865-271-8337 to reserve your 10 x 10 space for $10.

 

Saturday, May 26 – Lenoir City’s Rockin’ the Docks:  1 p.m. Food Vendors Open; 5 p.m. Music Begins, 10 p.m. Memorial Day Tribute and Fireworks; Lenoir City Park – Cove.  Music by RMS Band at 5 p.m.; The Bo Ashby Band at 6:45 p.m.; Smooth Sailor at 8:30 p.m.

Monday, May 14 – Be A Super Hero! Blood Drive: 
Noon to 6 p.m., Loudon County Justice Center, 12680 Hwy. 11.  Each blood donor will receive a free t-shirt and a coupon for a free appetizer at Texas Roadhouse!  Give Blood!  Save a life!!

Friday, June 8 – The Pilot Club of Lenoir City Presents “Wines & Cheeses & Chocolates, Oh My!”:  6:30 – 9:30 p.m., The Venue at Lenoir City, 7690 Creekwood Park Blvd., Lenoir City.  Enjoy a casual reception featuring wines, craft beers, cheeses & charcuterie and decadent chocolate treats.  Guests will also enjoy entertainment and a fabulous silent auction, with a wide variety of items available at all price points.  Tickets are $30 per person or $50 per couple and are available at Lenoir City Hall, The Venue, or online at bit.ly/winecheesechocs.  Proceeds support numerous brain health and special needs service projects in our community.

Lenoir City Civitan Club is looking for new members!  Civitan members are dedicated to helping people in our community.  The mission of Civitan International is to build good citizenship by providing volunteers dedicated to serving individual and community needs with an emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities.  The club meets at noon each Tuesday for lunch at Calhoun’s at the Marina in Lenoir City.  There is a guest speaker each week.  It is not mandatory for members to attend each week.  For more information, contact Amanda DeBord at Amanda.debord@edwardjones.com or 865-988-0833.
