Tuesday, September 18 – Free Introduction to Franchising Workshop:  11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce.  Join the Tennessee Small Business Development Center for this free workshop to learn the facts about franchising, and bust the myths!  Registration is required by calling 865-483-2668 or email jbangs@tsbdc.org

Friday, September 21 – Saturday, September 22 - Greenback Junkin’ Fair:  8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (vendor times may vary), downtown Greenback in the Home Décor Resale Store parking lot, 6710 Morganton Rd.  Community yard sale, farmer’s market, crafts, homemade goodies, anything goes!  Vendors, please call or text Janet at 865-271-8337 to reserve your 10 x 10 space for $10.

Spotlight your business on Loudon County Radio:  96.1-FM WLNT & Magic 104.1 are now offering a “Get On the Radio Special” for businesses that want to try local radio for the first time.  The radio station writes and produces your spot as part of the package, all you have to do is say yes!  Call Chip Lynn at 865-458-9563 and ask about the GOTR special. 

Volunteers for Run LoCo needed!  The Loudon County Education Foundation is hosting a Marathon, Half Marathon, 5k and Kid’s Fun Run.  Volunteers are needed for November 30 and December 1, 2018.  Please contact Susan Fox sfox@lenoircityschools.net or Scott Mackintosh mackintoshs@loudoncounty.org to sign-up!  We will need hundreds of volunteers to support this event to support education in Loudon County!  See website www.runloco.net for more details.  Share and like www.facebook.com/runlocotn to help support the event!

Tuesday, September 11 – Mommy & Me Painting & Baking Classes:  10:30 – Noon, Cook n Craft Academy, 418 Wharf St., Loudon.  Moms, Dad, Grandmas, Grandpas….bring along your little one to paint either a car or jewelry box.  Then we are baking and decorating really cool tie dye cupcakes.  Adult and child -$25; additional sibling - $10.  Call 865-394-8796 for more info.

Thursday, September 13 – The Good Samaritan Center of Loudon County Picnic Box Lunch Sale:  11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Pickup and Delivery times.  Your entire office can have a great lunch together while helping a wonderful Loudon County organization!  The Good Samaritan Center of Loudon County is hosting a Picnic Box Lunch Sale with ham or turkey sandwich, chips, pickle, soda or water, and a signature dessert for only $10!  You can choose to have your lunch delivered to Lenoir City businesses, or pick up your lunch at Good Samaritan Center, Lenoir City or First Baptist Church Tellico Village.  Call 865-986-1777 or visit www.goodsamloudoncounty.org to place your order!

Sunday, September 16 – Sergeant York the Play:  3 p.m., Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, 260 Wade Rd. Friday, September 28 – 2018 Loudon County Education Foundation Champions Gala:  6 p.m., The Venue at Lenoir City, 7690 Creekwood Park Blvd., Lenoir City.  Join us as we begin celebrations for Run LoCo!  Wear your favorite pair of running shoes and get your fancy party duds at Good Neighbors Shoppe or the Habitat for Humanity Home Store.  Contributions to the Loudon County Education Foundation throughout the year will reserve your spot - $250/2 tickets; $500/4 tickets; $1200/6 tickets.  RSVP required by calling 865-458-8749 by Friday, September 21st.
