Monday, January 7 – College Football National Championship Watch Party:  7 p.m., Citico’s Lounge, 2698 Oakum Court, Lenoir City.  Join us in the lounge on Monday night to watch the Clemson Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide face off for the 2019 College Football National Championship!  Tickets are $20 per person. 

Wednesday, January 9 – Loudon Monroe Human Resources Agency Meeting:  11:30 a.m., networking and lunch; Noon, business meeting begins; Cleveland State Community Center, Monroe County Center (Formerly Tellico West Conference Center next to Grand Vista Hotel), 121 Grand Vista, Vonore, TN  37885-2136.  Please plan on arriving around 11:30 a.m. so that you can network and have lunch our meal price is $12 and is payable by check or cash – please bring correct change.  We will have B. Jeff Francis, Asst. Administrator with the TN Bureau of Workers’ Compensation.  He will be speaking on “Improving Your Workers’ Compensation Culture”.  There will be several handouts that will help you with your workers’ comp program.  Please try to attend this informative session.  Please RSVP to smithsl@vytron.com

Thursday, January 10 – Trivia Night in the Lounge at Citico’s:  Join us at 5:30 p.m. for Happy Hour with our Lounge Menu from 5-10 p.m., and join in the fun with our Trivia Night at 6:30 p.m.  Citico’s Lounge, 2698 Oakum Court, Lenoir City. 

Saturday, January 12 – The Historic Loudon Theatre & Event Center Proudly Presents: 7-10 p.m., The Mike Palmieri Jazz Quintet.  Jazz music at it’s finest!  The Rhythm Section consists of UT Grads that have either completed their Masters in Jazz Studies or are currently working on their Masters.  Vocalist Diedre Ford is a huge talent and is also a UT Grad with a Performance Degree.  Don’t miss this great night of exciting jazz music!  Tickets are only $10 and available at the event.  This is a “bring your own beverage” event.  To reserve a table for six or more people, call the Theatre office at 865-458-9020.

Thursday, January 17 – Annual Soup’s On Benefit Fundraiser for Kids First Child Advocacy Center:  11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. – 7 p.m., Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, 260 Wade Road West, Loudon.  Come out and enjoy some great homemade soups and bread, and help children at risk.  Tickets are available at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, or United Community Bank.  Tickets $13 in advance; $15 at door. 

Friday, January 25 – Breakfast Club:  9 – 10 a.m., Country Kinfolk Café, 270 Hickman St., Lenoir City (behind Hardee’s).  Join Edward Jones Financial Advisor Amanda DeBord for this month’s Breakfast Club.  Enjoy a complimentary hot breakfast while gaining valuable information about investing in a relaxed atmosphere.  Please RSVP by Tuesday, January 22nd by calling Sara Barrett at 865-986-0833.

Saturday, February 9 – Concordia Care Vendor Fair:  Concordia Care of Loudon is looking for vendors for a day of shopping on Saturday, February 9th from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., 1520 Grove Street, Loudon.  Vendor fee is $25, non-refundable.  Please bring your own table and set up will be 8 a.m. the morning of the event.  All vendor fees will be donated to our residents for activities.  For more information or to receive a vendor form, contact Patti Montooth, Admission Director, at 865-458-5436, ext. 219 or email patti.montooth@concordiacare.net
